Do additives that stop oil leaks actually work?

If it is a small leak it might work mate

I would say only on small ones and not for long term

They do help swell up the seals sometimes mate but they will only stop small oil leaks and not for long. I also don't like the idea of putting additives in the engine oil. I feel like it messes with the viscosity
