Converting an empty cargo van into overland camper?

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I would give myself a 6-7 in the garage being good with my hands and building stuff. I share that because I want to know how realistic is it for me to think I can convert a empty cargo van into a cool camper? I have found a van, and it's a good price with low miles. I'm just not sure how realistic would it be to do the work?
