Are diff protectors worth it?

Thinking of installing some diff protectors as I scrape on rocks and ruts. Would you say they are worth the money?

Diff are tough things mate. I wouldn't say you need them but it's good to have them

Not needed but it doesn't hurt to have them

I wouldn't say so mate. The only issue with bashing your diffs is that it removes the pain which can the lead to rust. That's in the long term though
