For a long time, the Land Rover Discovery was thought to be the most versatile family car in its class, but its size, weight, and price make it a more expensive option than anything else. The Audi Q7, on the other hand, lacks the sturdiness required to face rough terrain while also being too large to be a practical alternative in an on road platform.

The Volvo XC90, the greatest full-size SUV from Volvo, is available. Its tiny transverse engine allows it to optimize the amount of space available in the cabin while avoiding the Discovery's exorbitant dimensions. Its sturdy construction also makes it an SUV that you'll feel at ease driving on off-road. The Volvo XC90 is a superior option than other vehicles in its segment in terms of functional design.


On paper, the XC90's 4-cylinder engine and 235 horsepower appear lackluster when compared to the 6-cylinder engines in the Discovery and Q7, which produce 258 and 268 horsepower, respectively. The Land Rover's stronger power, on the other hand, isn't enough to compensate for its extra weight.

Non of them are that great. But if I had to choose I would go with the Disco
